Jerry Lewis plays Helmut Doork, a circus clown imprisoned by the Nazis in this famously unreleased film. He performs for the Jewish children of the camp and accompanies them to their deaths in a gas chamber. The film's distribution was halted by Lewis, who also served as writer and director.
