Joseph, a young low-life criminal who suffers with severe insomnia is promised a key to all his worries by a mysterious note, he receives, if he does one last job. With an unexpected appearance by his ex-lover, Jolene, things grow more and more confusing. What follows is a moody, bizarre, thrilling nightmare as Joseph retreats into his dreams, memories and fantasies. The line between reality and fantasy becomes indistinguishable as the events unfold.
