In the privacy of his studio, Colombian painter Santiago Cárdenas works with the skill that that comes only from experience. He is model and mentor to a family that includes numerous artists now residing all over the world, and also devoting their lives to art. Each of them works from their own personal truth, passion and specialty. What lies behind a work of art? And further, what lies behind an artist?
