Chiqui is a fifty-year-old woman with a mild mental disability. She is an only child, single, and has never been known to have a relationship. She lives in the house she inherited from her parents and shares it with her cousin and her cousin's family. They have assumed authority as owners of the house, relegating Chiqui to a limited life. This family's situation will change when Chiqui introduces Bocha, her boyfriend, on Christmas Eve.
