SALEM: The Midwest's Most Wanted

What exactly do Lana Del Rey, Courtney Love & Charli XCX all have in common besides being musicians? Well they've all crossed paths at some point in their lives with the Michigan based band, SALEM.The forefathers of the Witch-house music genre, icons of the early 2010s electronic scene and chances are your favourite artist's favourite artists in one way or another. Over the last eighteen years, the band's influence has overshadowed artistic facets high and low. Such as working with the likes of Kanye West, Yung Lean & Mike Dean in music. Setting the mood sonically for Givenchy at Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2011 and inspiring so many artists, designers & producers to the point that I would be here forever having to list off every single one.
