Despite having friends as close as brothers among felow defectors, Cheol-jun— a young North Korean defector—always felt isolated, forced to hide his true gay identity. But for the first time in his life, he summons the courage to step into South Korea’s vibrant gay community. After meeting Yeong-jun at a casual drinking gathering, Cheol-jun quickly finds his footing and forms deep bonds with his new peers.
