Things aren't looking good for Zac in court until Daniel speaks up for Zac resulting in the judge being lenient and releasing Zac on a two year good behaviour bond. Afterwards, Daniel explains he did it because he admires the courage Zac showed in returning his dog. He also gives Zac his job back at the garden centre. Daniel and Lisa bond over lost pets after he finds in his yard. Dean then teases her with stories of Daniel coming to get her and her mother forbids her from talking to Daniel.
