For the first time in the history of the CMA awards, the announcement of the final nominees for the 38th annual CMA awards will be carried live Monday, Aug. 30. Catch the news on network and cable television from New York during The Early Show on the CBS-TV and on CMT Insider: CMA Special Edition on CMT from Nashville. The 38th Annual CMA Awards will be broadcast live from the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tuesday, Nov. 9 (8 p.m. ET/PT) on CBS.
