Kristian Digby sets out to find the perfect house swap for childhood sweethearts Rhiannon Harker and Gavin Radford, who want to swap their suburban terrace house in Bishop Auckland, County Durham, permanently for a city pad in a vibrant city. After a recent career change, music promoter Rhiannon wants to be in the heart of the live music scene and together the couple hope to make the most of the big city lifestyle before settling down to start a family.

Legal secretary and fitness instructor Lynne Barclay wants to swap her flat in the centre of Newcastle for a house with a garden for her cats.

Having swapped homes and lifestyles for a day, it is up to House Swap property negotiator Sunita Shroff to thrash out a deal. After a day of tricky negotiations, will they decide to swap homes for good?
