In order to celebrate Lime's recovery, everyone in the Kasahari Apartments are going to have a big barbecue. Having forgotten to bring plates, old man Gennai sends Otaru to a nearby pottery forge that a friend runs. Although unintentional, Otaru's refusal to bring Lime and his seemingly distant attitude causes her to become depressed.
