Jinto is meeting up with his old friend Ku Dorin, just to learn in person, that the Abh's are not welcome on Martine. While the First Devastation Fleet is getting closer to the Hyde System, Jinto tries to negotiate with his foster father Till Corinth, head of the anti-Abh resistance, to prevent a military conflict with Martine. Signing a statement of mutual agreement, the Hyde Government will abandon its sovereignty and become a nation of the Empire. However, those who possess the titel of Duke of Hyde, or have previously held it, were forbidden to come close to Martine.
