The group manages to search around the home, and find a hidden room in the attic. By this time, Halcyform has already been defrosted.

They escape his wrath when Lina makes a whole in the ground around them. They land in a sewer like place in the home, where slugs are present. Lina gets scared and hang on to Gourry.
