One Room Living - S1.E7 - It's Christopher Lowell

See how a single room can be transformed into a multitude of separate living environments. Christopher uses the telestrator to illustrate how a number of designers have tackled the problems of one room living, then points out all the wasted space in the ""before"" studio room he will redo. Explaining how the bed can be used to divide the room, he constructs a center island bedroom with a plywood platform and shelving unit, a core door headboard/wall, and a luan and pine footboard. Christopher also shows how to make a circular opening in the headboard and a hidden magazine rack. Decorative artist Joe Fenzel demonstrates how to achieve a faux finish linen look for walls with texture paste, sand, glaze and a rag.
