太上老君的青牛逃下凡尘，化为独角怪，掳去唐僧，意图加害。悟空虽有哪吒和两个雷神相助，也难以制服。最终悟空与之斗智斗勇，终于制服独角兽，使之还原为青牛，还给太上老君。
