玉华国国王有三个儿子，非常调皮，缠着八戒要学本领，好胜的八戒借了悟空、沙僧和自己的兵器给工匠照样子打造，不料被狮怪偷了去。悟空他们打败狮怪，夺回兵器，狮怪逃到牛怪那里，听说吃了唐僧肉能长生不老。这样，悟空与牛怪便发生了一场唐僧的争夺战。
