月宫嫦娥的玉兔带着玉杵和石臼跑到人间，自己变为天竺国的公主，却把真公主藏了起来。唐僧师徒来到天竺国，去布金寺发现一个被关着的女孩，悟空前去打探，又被很快转移。假公主看中了唐僧，抛彩球招亲，说服了国王，硬把唐僧招来，逼着他与“女儿”成亲。
