悟空设法变出四个唐僧，加上真唐僧一共五个，让国王和假公主无法下手。悟空去寻真公主的下落，却被假公主用石臼打晕，关进了洞里。在洞里他看到真公主，并与八戒、沙僧同把公主救出。八戒看到玉杵上的字，知是嫦娥之物，便主动去请来嫦娥，收服玉兔。
