SHAN asks YIN whether it ever occurs to her that she can save BUT by turning herself in to the empress. YIN tells her Highness that the daughter of the death row inmate is in Cheung Lai Yuen now. She hopes that the empress will release BUT, who can then probe into the matter. Everybody at Cheung Lai Yuen except YAN is pleased to see BUT again.
