HANG claims that MAN has threatened his interests in the Causeway Bay Re-development Project, while CHEUNG is also resolved to kick MAN out of the investment project. KWAN is planning on turning all the domestic slaves into household maids, which has enraged LAN most terribly. LAN puts all the blame on KWAN and rebukes her for having gone too far beyond her role as a wife of Barrister CHUNG. MAN needs KWAN to entrust all the family issues to LAN.
