Sugni along with Aditya and his family participate in a hawan. Compelled by Vikram Singh, Gulabiya forcibly performs the raai dance during Sugni and Aditya's engagement ceremony. Ma Thakur and Aditya's mother gets furious while Sugni and Aditya are left shocked. Gulabiya tells Ma Thakur that she performed the raai dance as she wanted to bless Sugni. Ma Thakur warns Gulabiya that next time she would not tolerate such behaviour. To handle the situation, Aditya lies to Ma Thakur that Niranjan must have called the Bednis to perform. Later, Sugni expresses her anger at Vikram Singh. Vikram Singh tries to make Sugni realise that she would not be happy with Aditya. He also tries to compel Sugni to stop the engagement but fails.
