Pauline disappeared. Falco is convinced that she was abducted by Darrigade, the man who, for 25 years, made his life and that of fire Ménard hell. But Falco refuses help he would need to find her daughter ... and doubt gradually settles into the head of his friends. And if he was delirious? If everything were only a consequence of his coma? Falco is isolated and eventually interned in psychiatric hospital to finally prove that he is victim of a plot. His friends finally at his side, they investigate together to find Pauline.
