Under the pretense of fear the Patriot Act was written. Former US Attorney Viet Dingh, a Vietnamese immigrant originally, with Michael Chertoff authored the first drafts aside from other claims. Chertoff had special financial interests in the Rapsican airport screeners. "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."
