Although both BILL and KAR know that they are partly responsible for making their relationship turn sour, they both hold fast to their principle and do not take the initiative to reconcile with each other. After his quarrel with CHUEN, CHEUNG finds him always posing difficulty to his work, CHEUNG is also angry to find that SHAN shares the same opinion with CHUEN over FAN's case saying that he is too emotional and impulsive. Because of this, CHEUNG falls out with SHAN.

Seizing this opportunity, CHUEN proposes to SHAN who frankly refuses him and withdraws from the tangle. After much thought, SHAN friends herself deeply in love with CHEUNG. She goes to see CHEUNG and the two make up. After this, they grille de ever in love. CHUEN cannot stand such defeat in love and becomes very depressed. TIN gives him a lesson and CRUEN decides to turn' all his attention to his career.
