HESHEN threatens JIAQING with PRINCE MIANNING’s life, forcing him to give in. In order to save PRINCE MIANNING, NAYANCHENG even risks his own son by making him as a decoy to lure away the pursuing enemies. After HESHEN leads JIAQING to a temple located on Jing Mountain, PRINCE YONGXING suddenly shows up, and he turns out to have joined forces with HESHEN. PRINCE YONGLIN leads his troops to Jing Mountain to rescue the Emperor but is thwarted by DORJI and his troops midway through. Just as HESHEN thinks he can easily get rid of JIAQING, FUCHANG’AN out of the blue leads his troops there to seek revenge from them. QI JIN rushes there to rescue ROYAL NOBLE CONSORT, who was confined by CHANG MEI, and then takes her to make an audience with JIAQING, who was also rescued.
