the rumor that Yong Ye's arrival will lead to catastrophic events is confirmed. Ning Que, a guardian of the Tang Empire, goes to the Ghost Festival to treat Sang Sang, who is discovered to be the carrier of Yong Ye's descent. Sang Sang becomes a target of pursuit, and Ning Que works to protect her, wandering the world to shield her from danger. The Academy of the Supreme College fights to defend their families, while Ning Que seeks to reunite with Sang Sang.
