Buskirk is blamed for causing chaos in the kitchen and around the Galactic Patrol base. Ronbat reads out all the complaints against him.

An emergency message is received from a ship escaping Valeria, after it has been invaded by Boskone. Without delay, Buskirk ignores Ronbat's orders and sets off.
