SZETO SHUN returns to the arson crime scene together with NGA-CHING, hoping to find some new evidence that will help clear his name. CHUN-NI goes to sit in the courtroom to observe the trial of the arson case involving SZETO SHUN. While there, the witness, security guard FAN FEI, testifies against SZETO SHUN, and the evidence also points to SZETO SHUN, resulting in him being in an unfavorable situation. Out of the blue, his defense lawyer calls a witness, who turns out to be socialite CHOW CHING-MAN. In the end, the jury returns a not guilty verdict for SZETO SHUN. Summoning SZETO SHUN, LING-YEE informs him that he is going to be transferred to another department. Filled with resentment, SZETO SHUN immediately tenders his resignation.
