MA LEI-AH reveals to BARBARA that he is willing to spend the rest of his life with her, but BARBARA immediately sees through him as she knows what he is actually up to. MA LEI-AH sees an interview clip about LAM SUET, knowing that she has already been shortlisted in the mainland singing contest. Impliedly, LAM SUET encourages MA LEI-AH to pull himself together and try to compete with her again. For hitting on AH-MUNG, MA LEI-AH is badly beaten by someone, who even commands MA LAI-KO to bring $200,000 and go to the bar to redeem his son. When MA LEI-AH is in danger, MA LAI-KO and DUMPLING manage to defeat BUSTED BOTTLE in the nick of time.
