Episode 1 - S1.E1 - Let It Be Me

CHEUNG YI is a member of a traditional large family. As he is given birth by a concubine, he has no important role in his family. He is inferior when compared with his step-brother CHEUNG KOON. After the death of YI's father, CHEUNG KOON inherits his father's fortune and becomes the boss of the famous shark's fins restaurant 'Koon Yuet Lau' while CHEUNG YI just plays the role of an assistant cook. But he has been satisfied with the condition for years without giving a sigh. CHEUNG YI's nephew KA LOK shares the common experience with him. KA LOK is given birth by CHEUNG KOON's concubine CHOW KWAN LAI. Since it is a very traditional family, KWAN LAI and KA LOK are discriminated. KWAN LAI is optimistic and does not make any complaint about her situation. On the other hand she always reminds KA LOK that being a 'seconder' should not strive for anything.
