LAU TIN WAH runs a second-hand shop. His son TING KIN helps him do a

little cheating and wins his favor. Another son TING PONG is upright

and headstrong. He always quarrels with his father over SAU KUEN, her

elder sister. TIN WAH had prejudice against SAU KUEN, believing that

she has caused the death of his first wife.

SAU KUEN is dismissed by her boss. She interviews for the post of secretary

and is offended by the boss. TIN WAH thinks that she is useless.
