Occupied with work, DlK Kl asks for YUEN WAH's favour o take care of YIK LING but she has fallen ill out ‧of over anxious about her cheating in class. DIK KI feels that he cannot afford the time to take care of YIK LING and decides to give up her custody. Later he finds that KA MEI has already taken YIK LING to stay with her in Taiwan, much t6 his sorrow. YUEN WAH comforts DIK KI and gives him much concern. Touched, DlK KI grows fond of YUEN WAH but since he has not recovered from his sorrow, he dares not start another love. LEUNG KWONG finds a wallet in a taxi and realizes that it belongs to his neighbour, CHENG MUI CHIN. KWONG returns it to CHING and the two have a nice chat. Being a widow at her middle age and left with a considerable amount of money, MUI CHING feels lonely and is delighted. to have someone talk to her. The two quickly become friends.
