CHOR begs KIU not to abandon him and promises not to love HO. KIU realizes that she has hurt CHOR deeply, and cries with him. CHOR hides himself from HO. SHING deliberately takes HO to her college by a wrong route in order to tell her of his feelings for her, but she stops him before he can do it. SHUN takes CHOR to see a doctor and confirms that his vocal cords are not damaged at all. The reason that CHOR cannot speak is psychological. CHOR then follows SHUN back to his home and feels jealous of the good environment in which he has grown up.

CHOR overhears SHUM and FAN planning to harm KIU’s reputation. SHUM scolds CHOR when she feels embarrassed. SHING slaps MAN on her face when she shows no regret even after SHING finds out that she has borrowed money from loan sharks. KIN proposes an elopement to LAM but LAM cannot decide immediately. MAN is outraged when she finds out that SHING loves HO.
