25th April, 2004. WAI keeps SAM’s undercover identity secret. WAH fails to get anything out of him. VINCENT knows that SAM is in danger and tries hard to save him. WAI realises that WAH is suspicious about SAM’s identity, so he tries to persuade him to give up struggling with WAH, but he refuses. PANG WAI stabs WAH with a knife to stop him from hassling WAI. VINCENT reports to the present Commissioner of Police CHAN CHING CHUNG about YEUNG’s possibility of committing bribery many years ago and requests permission to bring YEUNG in for an interview. PANG WAI is suspected of personal assault. WAI worries about her and visits her in the detention centre. When VINCENT is interviewing YEUNG in the interview room, SAM suddenly appears. VINCENT pulls out a gun from the drawer. Then a gunshot is fired. KWAN visits DRAGON KING to ask about WAH’s safety. DRAGON KING tells him that one son is gone, but another son will return.
