Polar day - S1.E1

The film takes us into the wonderful world of the polar day in northern Scandinavia. North of the Arctic Circle, the sun rarely sets in summer. There is food in abundance, but animals and plants face major challenges.

Summer is short and there is little time to bring a new generation through. It's all about growing, eating, feeding and hunting around the clock. But lack of sleep, mosquitoes and the constant threat from predators spread hectic and stress.

Deadly danger and life in abundance lie close together in the realm of the midnight sun.
