Laxmibai explains to her how Motibai had helped her go to the Ganesha temple, and how she had replaced Jhalkari to reach the ceremony. Jhalkari thanks Laxmibai and promises her that she is willing to do anything for her. Moropant too is happy to see his daughter back. A delighted Prachi informs Indu that she will celebrate her birthday with great splendour the next day. Laxmibai tells Gangadhar that untoward incidents in Jhansi have increased from the time Marshall has assumed office. Laxmibai goes to Sakhubai and Jankibai to warn them that if they ever think of harming Gangadhar again, then she would kill them. Aaishri overhears.
