Samar criticizes Gangadhar for not understanding Laxmibai and compelling her to leave the palace. Karma overhears them and realises that Rani is actually Maharani Laxmibai. Karma apologises to Rani and pleads to forgive him. Laxmibai forgives him and makes him promise that he will never tell the truth to anyone. Samar tells Laxmibai that Gangadhar is repenting for his past behaviour. Meanwhile, Gangadhar prays to God to unite him with Laxmibai soon. The day of the duel arrives.
