Daima hears about Samar and Karma's plan and tells Laxmibai about it. A worried Laxmibai decides to inform the king but is told that he has left to inspect the new battalion. Looking at the arms and ammunition, Gangadhar asks Nelson whether the battalion is here to protect Jhansi or capture it. Just then, Samar orders his men to throw the bombs.
