Wanting justice, the aggrieved mother of the poisoned infant comes to the palace. Janki Bai takes the milk for the ceremony from Sunder. Disguised as a 'dhol' player, Lachchu Bai enters the palace with the poisoned milk. Nelson informs Manson about Lachchu Bai and Janki Bai being bought over and the plan. Laxmi Bai proclaims the name of the crown prince as Damodar Rao, and everyone blesses the prince. Ellis brings a gift too. During Moti Bai's performance, Sunder whispers in Laxmi Bai's ear.
