Episode 29 - S1.E29

CHEUNG spends loads of cash entertaining the jockey trainees and ON wonders how he can afford it. CHEUNG has given quite a number of expensive presents to YAN and her mother. YUEN suspects CHEUNG is involved in illegal deals. TUNG puts into her website all the details of CHEUNG’s spendthrift ways. CHEUNG supposes YUEN is TUNG’s source of information. He gets so angry with YUEN and urges CHI to dismiss him. YUEN resigns but CHI suggests he take annual leave. A jockey gets injured and ON is to substitute for him, which ends up destroying CHEUNG’s plan to influence the result of the race. QUINN orders his subordinates to bash ON up. ICAC suspects CHEUNG has been taking bribes and soon starts investigation. ON realises trainee JIT, like CHEUNG, has accepted bribes. ON reminds him it is illegal but JIT warns him not to interfere. Here ON comes to understand why he was beaten up……
