LIK and KEUNG meet but they are certain that they are enemies instead of friends. YAU is discontented with HOI as HOI supports KEUNG. HAU worries about HOI. TUNG knows her feeling and he reminds HOI how deep HAU's love is. HOI feels that he has the responsibility and he begs HAU to marry him. KEUNG ignores CHING. CHING is depressed. CHING feels guilty when KEUNG tells her that YIU killed KWAN, CHOI and HAK. CHING goes home and questions YIU. She begs YIU to withdraw from his work. KEUNG holds a banquet for businessmen in Shanghai. KEUNG also holds a gathering for schoolmates. YIU's banquet is spoiled. KEUNG tries to kill YIU. YIU escapes from the trap. CHING begs KEUNG to leave Shanghai with her. KEUNG refuses to take her suggestion.
