As suggested by Mui, Yin asks Biu for finding her son. Law Wai does not admit a gambling debt that he owes. People working together with Fung are not getting along with him as he has been criticized for the way he behaves. On the stage, Fung is being set up and nearly makes a fool of himself in front of the audiences. Luckily, he is able to pull through it by his excellent singing technique. Chiu Siu-kiu, one of the best friends of Yin, finds Yin walking out from a pawnshop. Yin meets Biu alone regardless Kiu’s warning. Biu tells Yin that her son is now in Guangxi, China. He needs money in order to bring his son to Hong Kong. Later, Kiu has a quarrel with Yin when she finds Yin has sold the guitar of his son. Fung and Wai return to their hometown upon receiving the news about the government’s policy to collect the rural land. They think they will receive compensation.
