Lan returns to her village home alone. Yin finds her at last, yet she fails to bring her home. The secret of Hong’s participation in the singing contest is exposed. Kiu does not permit him to join the contest, she even cut the strings of his guitar. Hong rages and dashes out. Carol is not allowed to go to the contest venue although she wishes to show her support to Hong. She is angry after her mother has told her the reason behind. At the same time, Yin is about to explain to the organizer that Lan will withdraw from the contest. Surprisingly, Lan shows up at the last moment. She sings a beautiful love song and earns a big applause from the audience. She is leaving soon after her performance without waiting for the results. To the surprise of everyone, the winner is Lan but another candidate who does not sing very well. Fung doubts about the result and asks the explanation from Boss Sheung.… ...
