Yung-slang asks Chen Hua how he and Lung Cheng become enemies. Though Yung-slang and Chen Hua have only known each other for a short time, they pour out their hearts to each other. Yung-slang is very fond of Ch en Hua. Ma Yung goes to visit Chen Hua and discovers that Mei-li is taking good care of him. Though agitated, Ma Yung goes away quietly.

By chance, Hsiao-y comes to know that Chen Hua is in the villa and recuperating from his wounds. Hsiao-ya thinks that Yung-slang and Mei-li are deliberating hiding the facts from her and throws a tantrum. Yung explains to Hsiao-ya that Chen Huais pursued by his enemies and therefore must keep his hiding place a secret. Hsiao-ya's anger subsides.

Yung-slang goes to Lung Cheng and begs him to have mercy on Chen Hua. Lung appears to agree but secretly he is scheduling some evil plans to deal with Yung-slang.
