Episode 17 - S1.E17

Under the care of Mei-li, Yung-siang recovers but is lame and cannot move around. Yung-siang hates Chen Hua and makes several attempts to kill him but fails.

Mei-li's baby is due to arrive and is taken to the hospital. Coincidentally, Ch. Hua is also taking Hsiao-ya to the hospital to recuperate. Yung-siang sees his enemy and attacks Chen Hua. But he misses and is shot dead by Chen Hua. Mei-li is also shot dead in the commotion.

Ma Yung has calculated the date when his baby is due to arrive and plans to abscond to meet Mei-Ii. When he learns of the death of Mei-li and Yung-siang, he is very sad and absconds. The Japanese soldiers capture him and beat him up badly.

Hsiao-ya learns that Chen Hua has killed Yung-siang and Mei-li and is very sad. She has wanted to kill ChenHua to revenge but cannot bring herself to do it.… ...
