In order to compensate to KWAI's and TING's families, LOK gave part of his business to the two families. KWAI's son HOK YAU was still not happy with the arrangement and went for LOK's revenge. TIN manipulated YAU to act on BILL's banquet. KWAN stopped him and time and LOK escaped safely. YAU became insane and killed himself because he failed in his many attempts to kill LOK. TIN took the chance to blame on LOK, making the two families to hate LOK more.

In order to get away from work, KWAN and MAY went to the outlying islands for a secret vacation.

They met CHAN CHUEN who started a revolution. LOK took action immediately to pacify the turbulence. He rebuked KWAN's irresponsible act.
