Mass media spread the information that Volodenko forced doctor Striletska to marry Maksym. To prove it is not true Edita, Mykhailo's assistant and lover, arranges a family dinner at a fancy restaurant where she invites journalists. In front of cameras, Anastasiya says she truly loves her husband. When Yevheniy, Anastasiya's boyfriend, learns of it, he starts searching for her to find out what is going on and why she suddenly gave up on him married another man. Maksym stops their conversation abruptly. Enraged Anastasiya revenges on him.
