Episode 9 - S1.E9

When CHIN CHIN is about to prey on TUEN, the King dies and TUEN ascends the throne. Being the king, TUEN is protected by a divine shield and CHIN CHIN is greatly weakened. However, she cannot hides away to recuperate since she is implored by TUEN and is forced to stay with him.

The Queen Mother pushes TUEN for his marriage but she would not accept the humble CHIN CHIN to be the Queen. To please his mother, TUEN casually selects a woman to be his wife.

KUNG BUN CHEUNG gets drunk and reveals to LAU CHIU that TUEN would only stays in his throne for three years. Learning about this, TUEN kills CHEUNG so that he would not create unrest among the people.

WEN TUNG is told by TUEN to read the examination papers but he just casually gets his job done.

The Queen is neglected by TUEN and when she learns that he is going to take CHIN CHIN as the concubine, she becomes jealous and plots against CHIN CHIN……
