Chris Pratt made the leap to action movie star back in 2014 with Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, and he’s been on that path ever since. After seeing him go to war against deadly aliens with a time-travel plot in Marvel, The Tomorrow War lets audiences see him go to war against deal aliens with a time-travel plot. But like… But different.

The Tomorrow War definitely raises some questions. Like why aren’t people in the future sending people back in time to prepare for the war instead of to come fight a losing battle? Why do they mention only recruiting people that are deceased in the future if almost everyone is? Why did Dan dive off a platform to try and save Muri? What was the point of spending the whole movie working on a toxin if they just used explosives in the end? Why didn’t they prepare their soldiers at all for the extremely dangerous mission they sent them on?
