Chou Yung uses a small trick to defeat Yung Kuei. Then they go to Jui- fang about the debts. Jui-fang finds Chou Yung's action admirable, and agrees to postpone the deadline for paying the debts.

Jui-fang keeps Yung Kuei's savings from him in order to keep him by her side. Yung Kuei let out his problem to Chou Yung. Hsiao-chun sees through Jui-fang's heart. She tricks her into revealing her affection towards Yung Kuei, and even has her promise to forget about Ah Tung's debts.

Tsiao-k'ang greatly admires Chou Yung's skills at flying knife and begs to be taught. Chou Yung refuses to become Tsiao-k'ang's master but agrees to Tsiao-k'ang's learning it by himself. Hsiao-chun is distressed about her marriage with Wei-lun. Chou Yung advises Hsiao-chun to handle the problem and not to evade it. Hsiao- chun then makes up her mind as what she should do. Wei-lun pretends that he does not know of Hsiao-chun's disappearance……
