Chou Yung persists in searching Tsiao-k'ang, but Lei Kang objects. To break the deadlock, Lei Kang declares his withdrawal from the mission of rescuing Hsiao-tien. Ma Yi follows his move. On second thought, the two regret and decide to rejoin Chou Yung.

Tsiao-k'ang heals himself by cutting the poisoned part. He is then rescued by Yung Kuei. The two are rejoined by Chou Yung and Lei Kang respectively.

The gang reconciates and is more united than ever.

Yung Kuei learns from Ah Chuan that Feng Piao has betrayed Hung Tan Chao Clan. Chou Yung uses a small trick to get Feng Piao out from his hiding place and tries to elicit information about Hung Tan Chao Clan from him. Feng Piao demands two things from them before he would agree to co-operate. The first is to get seven boxes of explosives in one day. The second is to surmount ordeals he is to give.
